The Quinoa Breakfast Bowl is a naturally sweet, protein-packed morning meal that’s as nourishing as it is delicious. Simmered in almond milk with honey and vanilla, and topped with fruits, banana, and nuts, it offers comforting warmth, balanced energy, and a hearty dose of fiber to fuel your day.
Ingredients
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Medium Banana
1/4 Cup Fruits
1/2 Serving Cinnamon
1/4 Cup Nuts
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
2 Tbsp Honey
1 Cup Quinoa
2 Cups Almond Milk
2 Servings Berries
Instructions
Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under cold water.
In a medium saucepan, combine quinoa, almond milk, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the quinoa is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Fluff the quinoa with a fork and divide it into serving bowls.
Top each bowl with chopped nuts, dried fruits, banana slices, chia seeds, and fresh berries.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Optional: Reduce carb intake by eliminating dried fruits and fresh fruits.
